One of tiniest pubs I have ever been in. They do table service, probably for the most part in order to let people stand at the bar.
The pint of Tetleys that was brought to me was ok I guess. It's just such a charming place, that I would have been happy drinking anything so a real ale is a bonus. Like drinking in someone's front room. -

Decided to drop into the Circus for a quick drink, really just to check out what claims to be the smallest bar in Europe. I don't know how they substantiate this claim, but it is really tiny! I would imagine when it gets busy it could be quite impossible to move around easily or to get a seat, but at this slightly off peak Thursday evening it was fairly quiet and managed to get a seat in the 'front room' which has tables, chairs, an open fire (if its ever used) and a tv screen. This room is actually about half the size of my own living room!! A great place to go for 1 or 2 drinks, though unlikely you'd want to spend an entire night there. Its more novelty value rather than anything else. Normal city centre prices with £4 pints, for some reason I had expected it to be a little cheaper than that.

It lives up to it's billing - this place is tiny. I happened in on a weeknight, when it was not too crowded. That allowed for a bit more breathing room in the seating areas. Friendly staff, unique layout, worth stopping in for a drink or two. On less crowded nights, could easily see spending a good chunk of time here.

A Man United pub which also happens to be the smallest pub in Europe! Definitely worth a visit if you're new to Manchester and looking for a quick pint near to the Chorlton St coach station across the road. Don't expect to sit and chill with a drink for hours though, as it's TINY and any stools are normally claimed by the 'locals' - normally old United fans who seem to drink in here, all day everyday!

Adore this little pub.
Nice and cozy and on cold winter afternoon lovely and warm with the "real flame" gas fires lit.
The back room has a lot of interesting football memorabelia in and the front room has some interesting pictures of the Manchester Music scene.
I have met people in there from all over the world who have heard that it was a pub that George Best frequented.
Believe it or not they have a great "locals Bunch" who come regularly from Norway, being Man United fans.
I love it when we have foreign football teams playing in Manchester as their supporters make for The Circus and get as great welcome from Barry and the Staff and Barry even puts the "opposing" teams flag up!
I love international football days in there chatting and laughing with our European cousins.
The odd thing is, I don't watch football
